Welcome to Sweat, Tears and Digital Ink, the personal website and blog of Freelance Writer MG Mason. I am based in Swindon, England and have been copywriting since October 2012 working on a pay-per-job arrangement. In early 2013 I gave up full-time work to launch into a career as a full-time freelance writer. Copywriting and SEO articles form the core of my work at present. However, in the long term I would like to have regular work as an academic ghostwriter or writing freelance articles for technical magazines. Fiction remains my first love and I will continue to pursue my ambitions and options to become a published novelist.

I have a Master’s Degree in Landscape Archaeology from the University of Exeter and qualified to research and write on the following subjects:

• Geography
• Environmental Science
• GIS

I obtained a 2:1 for my undergraduate degree and achieved a first class mark for my dissertation. This research project was praised as a pleasurable read and for its clarity, passion and eye for detail. I relish learning new subjects and eager to put my research and writing talents to the test.
