Are you self-employed, work from home or other remote worker based in west Cornwall (specifically Falmouth and Penryn area)? Are you fed up with working alone with only your four walls for company? Why not come along to Cornwall’s newest Jelly event? The digital economy and remote working have led to an unprecedented number of people working from home rather than in conventional workplaces.
What is a Jelly?
Businesses are allowing people to work from home and freelancers are choosing to work from home. This means low social contact. Studies have shown that people are more productive with company and when there is background noise. Simply the point of a Jelly is working in the company of other people. It’s not networking, although that is not actively discouraged.
We meet every Thursday at Muddy Beach at the bottom end of Penryn.
All the venue asks is that people buy food and drink. Please do come along and bring whatever you need for a few hours of work. We’re a friendly bunch consisting of freelance writers, coders and app developers and many more. For further details, please see our official Falmouth and Penryn Jelly Facebook page. If you would like to register your interest, please contact us through the Facebook page or my email address – details on the contact page.
We look forward to seeing you there.
