Ladies and gentlemen, dear readers old and new. I am very, very delighted and proud to present you with my very first author interview and it is with one of the most celebrated writer’s of crime. A few weeks ago, I was requested to read and review the book The House on Cold Hill by crime writer Peter James. The book was released last week. Here, I present my Q+A session with the writer. Book Review: The House on Cold Hill by Peter James

I seem to be attracting requests for review for commercial work these days; that’s why I am reviewing this book several days before its official release. An interview with the author will follow so please check back.

Peter James is a well-known writer of crime and science thrillers, and though having looked up his bio it seems he has dabbled in the supernatural before, but nothing quite like this. Continue reading “Book Review: The House on Cold Hill by Peter James”

Autumn 2015 Goals

I know some of my regular readers partake in the  Top Ten Tuesday. I think it’s a great idea, but I have stopped shy of introducing the feature here because I’m concerned about getting sucked in a little too much when I have work to do. Dead Heat Zom-Com Hard Copies – OUT NOW!

I’m very pleased to announce to you today that my zom-com Dead Heat is now available as hard copy editions as well as previously available mobi, pdf and epub files (available through Amazon and Smashwords).

Dead Heat Print Copies

After an anxious couple of weeks of waiting for my proof copies of Dead Heat, to be published through Amazon CreateSpace, they have finally arrived. At first glance, they look very good but I will make some changes to the text – I had forgotten to take out the navigation chapter section and it’s pointless keeping it in because there are no page numbers (which need to be inserted anyway). News on Dead Heat – And a Special Request

Last week, I had a 5-day free download period on my horror-comedy novella Dead Heat in an attempt to boost rankings and get a few more reviews on Good Reads and Amazon in a hope of more sales. I guess you can say it was fairly successful – over 100 copies were “bought” during the free trial period and some 15 Kindle Online Lending Library accounts accessed it (not sure whether I get royalties on the KOLL, the Amazon page is not clear on that). I Have a New Blog – Random Reviews!

Do you like to read independent reviews of drinks, restaurants, food, days out, or entertainment media? Do you get fed up with reading endless and meaningless three-word reviews on Amazon, or sick and tired of picking through fake reviews on the internet? Never fear, because I have started a new blog dedicated only to reviews.  Continue reading “I Have a New Blog – Random Reviews!”
